FFWD Rear Wheel
Hi,
I have a FWWD F4R tubular wheel and the rear bit that normally protrudes from the free hub and grips the frame in the drop out is almost flush with the lock ring. It's been fine for a while now it's like this. This is causing the lock ring to rub against the dropout/hanger and the chain as well.
Is there any way to increase the distance this bit protrudes? My other wheel is fine as there is about a 1/1.5CM lip when the cassette is on.
Regards
David

When I put an 11 speed cassette on my Mavic wheels, the two surfaces looked almost flush but there is enough clearance on the bike.
If your lock ring sits slightly proud of the end of the hub, make sure you have removed the 10/11sp spacer from the inner end of the freehub and make sure that all cogs and spacers in the cassette are super clean.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

Is that an 11 speed cassette .. are you sure the freehub is compatible?
I bought my own FFWD F6Rs this winter.. most deff 10 speed.. hence I got them cheap.0
