Giant TCR Advanced 4

Hi all, first post on here (long time lurker), I used to be a roadie in the 90's, early 00's, packed in when marriage/family took over, at the age of 43 I have taken up the sport again and the legs are coming back quickly, riding mainly on my old Colnago but recently bought a 4year old Giant TCR Advanced 4, nice 10spd 105, Fulcrum Racing 3's, really like the bike but have no experience of carbon frames, I used to race on a custom Weigh 853 with 9spd DA, the 105 on the Giant is actually very similar to my old DA, i have the chance on a deal on an 11 speed DA group and was wondering if the Giant TCR is worth the upgrade or should I hold on for a better frame?

Any feedback much appreciated.

PS What the hell happened to the roads in the last 15yrs, shocking!
