I have been hankering after some pikes for my blur lt for a while now and after selling a set of forks this morning on ebay the wife will give me the green light to buy some. I was after 160 rct3 solo airs however just as I was about to buy them from bike discount they ran our of stock

So do I buy the 150's for £485
or go to winstanleys for the 160's at £535
??????????????

I am hoping to have them for a week tomorrow to take them up to wales as I have a rare chance to hit the trail centers.

Flip a coin - seriously. When the coin is in the air, you'll know which one you want.
  • well I want the 160s but is 10mm worth an extra £50? and missing using them at the welsh centers for a few days?

I'd probably try and get whatever will be the closest a2C height of what was on there before - if you're looking to keep the same geo & ride

  • I'm not I have already slackened it out to 67.1 using a works headset and by going up to the 160 it will take it to about 66.4.
I have managed to get the 160's off bike discount apparently I had the last set sat in my basket on another page I had open (go figure!)

Whether 10mm makes any difference or not you will always wonder if you buy the 150s.
