Anyone else do it was my first time was a fun very scenic route.

Festiniog hill was hard work with was glad there was a feed stop half way up.

    I did the Canol distance on Sunday and absolutely loved it.

    The route was really pretty and interesting with the first section along the menai straits and then into the hills with some big climbs. To top it off the atmosphere back in Castle Square was excellent.

    I particularly liked that the marshalls effectively closed some of the busier road junctions to cars as groups cycled through to make it safer. It almost felt like a closed road event.

    Overall, the best sportive that I have done and I will be back next year.

    I too did It, although I suffered a puncture after the Pentrefoelas feed, which dropped me 30 places. I've done the Ganol the past two years so decided to up it to the Mawr this year. I was pleased to find that I'd lopped 15min off the first split time from last year, so I'm doing something right. :D
