Everywhere he goes there's some sort of bother...
Coincidence I'm beginning to think not.

Perhaps John Simpson is like the character "War" in "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman. I think she was modeled on Kate Adie.
Anyhow wherever she appears war breaks out because the locals believe one is happening and join in inadvertanly starting one in some cases!
If you like that sort of thing..... A thoroughly good read.

The other night he was walking through the remains of bodies 'saying oh there's blood everywhere' in a cream linen suit. this was after the night before when he was running for cover from a snipper attack with his hands aloft.

I don't think I would invite him to a house party - would end in a riot or with a car bomb.

Imagine how he feels, knowing that trouble follows him, must be stressful

I reckon the government should take out a hit on him and save everyone from any more conflicts

Apart from the fact that John Simpson is sometimes correct :P
"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

I'm glad he's not in Rio.

Could you imagine the carnage. Bombs going off. Terrorists everywhere. Fires. Pestilence. Locust attacks.

I worry about when he goes to Croydon.

I was going to mention her... Quite fancy her in a way but she does need to lighten up.

If you were out on a date you would have to wear fully body armour
