Cycling around Trento

I am participating in the "Charly Gaul" event in Trento.
The event is part of the UCI world cycling tour, and there is a time trial on the Friday and a road event that goes up Monte Bondone on the saturday.
Details here: http://www.laleggendariacharlygaul.it/

We arrive there on Thursday (Verona) and i may do the tt but i'll for sure do the road event on Saturday.
But I'd like to do some more cycling since it looks a lovely part of the world for that.
We fly out on Tuesday, so i can do some cycling on Sunday & Monday.

Looking at google maps it seems that i am spoiled for choice, so i am interested in some advice/ideas of where to go?
I will rent a car as well.
I also haven't booked the hotel yet so if anyone has any experience let me know!

It's a lovely part of the world for sure. If you head down towards Lago di Terme there are a few climbs there, and it's a nice loop there and back. There are one or two other loops around the Bondone side of town.

As for hotels, I'd imagine they're quite popular, so no idea if they have spare rooms, but this place is magic.

It's in Matarello, so just outside of Trento. You generally have to climb up to it, so a nice end to each ride :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I booked the hotel you suggested it looks nice with great reviews, and not too expensive either.

If my memory serves me, the family that own the place also have a grappa 'brewery' (or whatever such a place is called). We had a tour when we were last there and came home with some nice hooch.

You've obviously got the Bondone, but if you head towards Levico Terme you have the climb up towards Panarotto or Vetriolo Terme, both of which are lovely climbs. You also have some pretty climbs around the Rovereto part of town.

    Sure you'll have a great time :)
