Pedal/cleats
I'm having a little trouble with a pedal/cleat and trying to eliminate what's wrong.
Left cleat feels really loose when 'engaged', to the point of it just working free as I'm cycling along. The cleats (Shimano SPD SL) are a little worn, however I wouldn't say they are too bad. Right cleat/pedal is fine so I switched cleats on my shoes but the problem remains only on the left pedal/cleat.
Pedals (Shimano PD-R540 SPD SL) are 3-4 years old, never been serviced. I've made the pedal clip tighter using the adjuster but this hasn't made any difference.
Any ideas? Do the pedals just need servicing?
