Hi

I have an XT derailleur M750, on an 8 speed set up, can this derailleur be used with a 9 speed shifter?

Thanks

Chris

Sometimes the wider cage 8 sped mechs can be very picky on set up, we ended up fitting a 9 speed front mech on my sons bike as sneezing within 2 meters of it would put the front indexing out.....
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

I would be happy to regurgitate some for a friend. I'm nice like that.
