Beginner bike similar to Felt Z95

I've looked and looked and decided on the Felt Z95 as it had a compact chainset, was apparently good for beginners as it's more comfortable and not quite as intense.

So far I've been let down by the two shops near me - who are actually good normally - but I'm fed up of being messed around by them.

I'm willing to look at other bikes, particularly Cannondale or Trek, or anything else.

Can someone recommend a good bike that is around £650 and is good for beginners?

I love mine and plenty of other good reviews out there it was the Facebook https://www.facebook.com/MEKKBicycles that helped me make a decision.

Price is down to £650 as the new range hits the shelfs in July.

You are getting Sora over Claris and a full carbon bike compared to the big brand name Spesh.
