6800 inner and outer chainrings

I've got a couple of ultegra 6800 chainsets, and was wondering if there would be any implications with changing the sizing from 52/36 to 53/36 or even 50/36, or even stick a dura ace 38 on the inside (as they are the same 110BCD sizing) seems i can buy the relevant parts but was wondering if that would affect anything. obviously i'd need to reposition the Front deraileur dependant on what setup i had, but other than that it should be pretty much ok?

Make sure not to have a bigger difference than 16 teeth, but apart from that you'll be fine. (so avoid 53/36)
