Hey Guys,

I recently uploaded my 2013 Tarmac (http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12969848) with the intention of upgrading the chainset. Well, one thing led to another and I became a proud owner of a 2012 S-Works Venge..

Almost all of the parts are recycled or bought second hand. I tried to build the bike myself but ran out of suitable tools  so I had a friendly LBS help finish it off.

Spec:-

2012 S-Works Venge
56 frame size I'm 6"
Full Dura Ace 7900 groupset (minus the crank)
Rotor 3DF with Q-Rings
Jagwire cables
Chinese 50mm Carbon Wheelset (absolutely brilliant)
Continental GP4000s tires
FSA K-Wing Bars
FSA SL-K 110mm Stem
K-Edge Out-front Garmin
Specialized Toupe saddle
Dura Ace 7900 pedals

Final Weight - 7.45kg

Sorry for the poor quality pic as I'm rubbish with anything camera related.

She's a dream to ride, seems to fly off the mark.

Hope you like as much as I like riding it :D

  • Thanks for the comments, I've seen a few stealth S-Works about and I have a black Tarmac already so I jumped at the the read/white/black frame. I agree with the bottle cages, although they came with the frame and matched the paint job so left them in place.

After trawling the internet for sellers, looking at Carbonzone etc, I settled for an ebay seller diy-bike. They had an absurd claim that the wheelset was 1250g, but they're not far off. I would be a little dubious on the heating and brake track quality though if I had to do some long descents, but I don't live near any big hills :|
