I got that one wise owl - the Red Indians and no fear of heights. Some of that old footage is eeeeeek. It was a different world back then.

Pinno, they were specifically Mohawks. Respect. I can't even go up a ladder.

I'm not too bad up a ladder. I have spontaneous intermittent vertigo. In other words, sometimes I get it and other times it's non-existent. I went up a hill with a friend once and ended up on my hands and knees and just last week, went 4 miles uphill to 800 meters. Sat down with my little un to have a picnic and BANG - I went all dizzy and silly. Kept Toots 1 close to me trying best not to show any panic. As soon as I got up to walk back down, it was gone. I never get it on a bicycle. There's something re-assuring about the gyroscopic effect...

Of all the events in the world, wouldn't you have loved to have been there ^ ?

Apparently If you believe everyone who says they were there, Woodstock had a crowd to be counted in millions.
Jimi should have gone on around midnight to close the show, but because things went t1ts up, he didn't get on till next morning. At this time, people were on their way home.
In my naive youth, yes I would have liked to have been there but now middle aged, I look at the likes of Glastonbury and the V festival, which is only down the road, with horror. Splashing around in sh1t and mud to see specks on a stage in the distance? No thanks.

The Glastonbury's and the T in the parks are just contrived, over commercialised events. £3 for a bottle of water. At least Woodstock was in an era of change, protest and great music (even if it never achieved much). I could probably say that I would not enjoy 95% of some of the acts at Glastonbury whereas at Woodstock...

I must confess, a lot of the acts at these festivals are unknown to me.
