BB and Crank - what matches what ?

I have just ordered a Canyon Aeroad frame and am going to building my first bike.

After watching online videos etc... and from advice on here im looking forward to the challenge and it doesnt seem as daunting as it first was.

But one area i am really struggling with is bottom brackets and cranks and what needs to match what.

I have spoke to Canyon and they have told me the frame is a pressfit BB or a BB86.

After toying with the idea of SRAM force i have decided on Uletgra 6800. All of the Ultegra groupsets seem to come with a Hollowtech BB and the Ultegra crank.

Am i right in saying i will need to buy a different BB but then will the crank fit a BB86 ?

Could somebody just explain what i need to get - maybe a link to a BB that would fit both the frame and the Ultegra crank

Either this or the more expensive bb91 at wiggle. You will also need a headset press or similar. But you can use a vice with a tooth guard.

If the frame is BB86 standard and you are using 6800 cranks, you need one of these:

+1 BB71 or 91 Shimano units are fine.

If you want tricker then Hope, Enduro, CK, KCNC etc. all do BB86 cups.
