If you are feeling a bit narked this morning , having to drag your sorry ass into work to do a days work in a job you really don't like. Try a little rule 5 today and remember.

70 years ago today Butchers, Bakers and Candlestick Makers aged 15 upwards, jumped into anything that floated or flied and went to liberate Europe.

Just Saying. Off to deliver post in the rain :D

    The very opposite of prospective!
Prospective = looking to the future

I think you meant either retrospective or perspective?

+1 just amazing that people had the courage. I watched Band of Brothers a while back and it made WW2 just come to life for me.

I think the only other thing that gives me that new perspective on life is my kid. Her smile makes you forget all the rubbish of the 'real' world...

Just come back from D Day Veterans' commemorative parade - yup, brings it all into perspective.

Special breed they were/are - makes you wonder how many of today's yoof would do the same .......

    Hear, hear!

No amount of respect will ever be too much.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
