Anywhere in the Peaks will be a good ride :D In the north you could plan a route that takes in the Strines, Holme Moss and Snake Pass.
Further south, the Goyt Valley is a great ride, over Cat and Fiddle, Axe Edge, Longnor, Bakewell.

Don't miss Edale and Winnat's Pass. Like I say, you can't go wrong, just enjoy the scenery :D

How far do you want to ride in a day, what sort of place are you looking to stay ? I'm sure people can knock you up a couple of routes and recommend a base but it does depend if you are looking at doing 30 mile rides or 100 mile plus epics. Also are you on road bikes or are some of the cycle trails a possibility ?

You should find quite a bit of information on climbs in the archives..but if you interested in any cycling for softies options you may will find two disused railway trails The Tissington Trail & the High Peaks Trail very pleasant rides if you are taking family members with you..
