Scott Sizing Advice

Hi all
Some advice regarding the sizing of Scott bikes needed please, I'm looking t the current offers on the Scott Foils and CR1s. No where local to have a look but what size would you recommend for a 6foot rider?
Currently riding a 56 specialized allez which fits fine.
Thanks in advance

Perfect fit for me at 5ft 11
I had a Scott CR1 Comp 2010 54cm which I regrettably sold.
It fit me very well.
I am 179cm, 5ft 10.
Happy with the CR1 Pro? Currently the bike I was looking at!
I'm 182cm (quite leggy) so almost the same height!

The thing to do might be to take some basic measurements from your existing bike and test them against the published geometries. The CR1 and Foil are quite different though.
OTOH a chap at my LBS is about my height, but has longer legs. He ran a 58cm Foil over the last couple of years, our bikes are setup to about the same saddle-bars distance, but with the smaller frame he would struggle with the drop to the bars. But, give your 56cm Allez, I'd expect you to suit the same size Scott frame.
BTW Foil is great.

Great idea, a quick comparison shows that the Allez seems on the bigger side, think I'm going to have to go for a drive at the weekend and find somewhere that stocks them!
I've had a couple. Just shy of 6ft and I ride them in a 54 with a 110mm stem and the saddle quite far forward. Worth noting that the 54 comes with a 10mm setback post and the 56 has a 25mm setback post.
Measured against my old 54 bike (a Sab) the foil has a 2cm longer wheelbase and is 2cm lower to the top of the top tube (just under 78cm stand over height if I remember rightly).
I did 103 miles on mine yesterday and got off without a single ache, apart from my ar*e as I realised the saddle is too narrow for me.
Yup - very happy with it and believe you can get some cracking deals on new ones
Highly recommended for that price!
It is an awesome bike, really fast. The best that I have ridden by a long way. It is a firm ride but unlike a lot of the reviewers I haven't found it uncomfortable. Did 5hrs and 3,000m climbing the other day and it, and I, was fine. The caveat is that I live in Portugal where the roads are super-smooth apart from the odd section of cobbles.
But then if you want something that's super-comfy get a Bob Jackson.
Lovely bike (more than I want to pay really but Westbrook have a 36month finance deal...) very like and a massive upgrade on my Specialized.
Feedback from the store about the Foil is it is uncomfortable and the Addict is much nicer (maybe because that's the only one the sell who knows)
Anyone had chance to try both? Is the Foil really that much more uncomfortable that an Addict?
What size Addict did you try? Did the shop fit you properly to the bike? You sound more like an Addict than a Foil sort of person but it may depend on the terrain you are riding. I live in a hilly area with poor road surfaces so would myself opt for an Addict because it is so light and more comfortable, but if you live in a flatter area you may prefer the more aggressive, heavier but more aero Foil. I believe pro riders often swop between Foils and Addicts depending on how hilly a stage is.

The Foil is not uncomfortable (many 200-400 mile rides on mine), although it is stiffer than the Addict.
