Hey guys, looking at a pair of spd mtb shoes. First ever pair and I have been looking at these, does anybody have experience with them and know how they fit? I often hear people say buy a size up.

Wore a pair of Spesh BG Comps for years and sizing was same as Nike or any other trainers for me. They were super comfy and I still have them but have moved onto flats so strictly a Five Ten man now

Everyone likes a deal but for your first pair i would strongly recommend buying them from a shop and get properly fitted sat on a bike clipped in, online deals are great when you know what make fits you well.
A poor fitting pair of shoes makes riding uncomfortable and can overtime cause injuries.

    Its well worth it.

If they don't fit, send them back

FYI Evans sell the Shimano MO88 too and will price match Wiggle.

Go to a shop, try some on. If they fit, buy them. If you are a bit of a tool, try them on and if they fit go away and buy online cheaper.

Alright dudes, went completely off what I was expecting and ended up buying Halfords own, tried a few and they seemed to be the most comfortable for me. Tested them last night and seem ok. Had a few topples but all in all im happy.
