I've tried a few pairs of shoes and I appear to be between a 46 and 47. So do I go for a pair slightly too small and hope they stretch a little or for a larger size and ratchet them tight to stop the slop!?.

Go larger, you're feet will get bigger when warm, plus room for extra socks in winter

or keep looking around - sizing fluctuates a lot between brand and also some brands do .5 sizes..
  • Can anyone recommend a brand that does half sizes. I see that Shimano have done half sizes in the past, but trying to find a pair is like trying to source hens teeth!

If anyone can find me a pair of £100ish 46.5 Shimano's I will be eternally grateful!,,
  • Bont do half sizes as do Lake I think
