  • This guy obviously loves his bike.
I'm not sure why he was put on the sex offenders register though, unless it was a child's bike.

Cannot help but think that this is a bit harsh, he did it in a locked bedroom which the cleaners unlocked themselves, It's not as if he was doing it at the bike rack outside a train station! more importantlyI don't think it is breaking any of 'The Rules'

Tend to agree. Ok he was in a hostel which isn't like his own or a rented house so is somewhat more public in nature. However he was in his own room which is private and he was trying to be discreet. Can't see how it is breach of the peace or 'disorderly' really as he hasn't set out to cause trouble. It was just unfortunate that the cleaners decided to use the master key... must have been a very squeaky bike for him not to hear. :D

Yeah, it's an old article from 2007. I still think what I thought back then though, "who's he harming?" . It's a bit odd sure, but he's not involving anyone else

It was behind closed doors FGS
2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
    2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
    2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey

    The departed:

    2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
    Boardman CX Team - sold
    Cannondale Synapse - broken
    Cube Streamer - stolen
    Boardman Road Comp - stolen

Indeed. If a man wants to have intercourse with his bicycle... Unless it was someone else's bicycle. That could be a tad upsetting. I would feel a bit violated if I found out someone had had sex with my bike. As long as it's consensual!

I just hope the bike wasn't carbon........

Does seem an odd one this. 1) Would he have been done if he was having straight nookie with a bird? 2) what kind of pathetic barstard was the manager for reporting it to the police in the first place and 3) why the hell does this ancient news item suddently keep cropping up all over BR?
