Just back from a week in Mallorca- no Eurosport and no Giro coverage on any channel we had.
I seen the back pages of Gazzetta and know Quintana is in pink and Aru done something 'Stellar'
It's all recorded on Sky - so what stages are worth watching?

This is a great summary of rider fortunes:EKIMIKE wrote:This is turning out to be a Giro of breakthroughs (some less significant than others).
Quintana
The question after last year's TdF was: can he handle leadership duties? Well, now he's really confirming that he can take that burden. A joy to watch. A canny operator and of course supremely talented.
Aru
Similar to Quintana in that the previous year was something of a breakthrough but this year is a real step up. Very impressive for a second year pro, lets not forget. Great pain face too.
Kelderman
This guy really can ride GC. Definitely more suited to the climbs and TT's of France but great to see him take on the Giro with real commitment.
Arredondo
A true battler and willing to chase the KOM prize and stage wins, which is refreshing considering he's never really going to hit the heights of a GT podium given his TT'ing ability. It would be a shame to see him settle into a middling GC rider a la Pozzovivo.
Bouhanni
One of the less significant breakthroughs given that we know there are faster sprinters out there but nevertheless nice to see a different winner and this Giro shows he can handle the pressure of leadership.
Seb Henao
Two top-10's now. Impressive stuff for a neo-pro.
Vuillermoz
Looks like AG2R have got themselves a great domestique, only 25 years of age. Also hovering in 11th albeit by a massive margin to 10th.
Tim Wellens
Another young rider going very well. He's got potential based on this showing (multiple top 10's, including today).
The Bicycle I Ride......a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

The Bicycle I Ride...
I think Bongiorno and Battaglin can be added to that. What a Giro for Bardiani.0 -
