hi, i got a mekk poggio 1.5 (sora) a while ago and noticed it has a bottom bracket i' not familar with. Its a press fit, which i think is a GXP type but if Nyone could confirm that would be great. i cant get any photos at the moment.

The non drive side crank is attached using a self extracting bolt. similar in appeareance to BB30
Crank spindle has a diameter setp down for for the non drive crank, so bb bearing ID is slightly smaller on that side.
Spindle and drive side bearing appear to be 24mm.

I'm after fitting my 6800 chainset to the bike, would a shimano bb86 fit?

Quick question, does it have 9 speed Sora?

If so, a quick google reveals that you already have a BB86 fitted. In which case your 6800 chainset should be a straight swap.

The fact the NDS spindle is narrower suggests it's not compatible with the 6800 chainset which is 24mm throughout.
