You cant go wrong with Wellgo MG1 magnesium flats. You can find them for around £30 and the bearings seem to be everlasting though the Magnesium will scar easier than Aluminium. Mine have lasted over 2 years of complete neglect and commuting and still spin smoother than my 6 month old SPD pedals.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

For cheap SPD's get some Shimano M520 off Amazon for under £20, last for ages and work just as well as the much dearer ones.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I am considering the Wellgo MG-1 for my P1, as I could do with some grippier pedals. However, when hunting around on Ebay I found the Wellgo MG-3 which may be a little lighter, a little smaller and have a different pin arrangement. I can't find any other information on them; the Wellgo website and the rest of the Internet yields nothing!
They are only £18 though...0
