I've been riding 25mm Michelin Pro4 service course for the last few weeks and they've been amazing. Fast, smooth rolling and yet to puncture!0

I've been through a few in the last few years, and plenty more to try yet, but I keep coming back to Conti GP4000s 25's for comfort, durability and a feeling of sure-footedness that I don't seem to get on other brands. The GP's tend to get a fair amount of good reccs from other forum members too. Puncture-resistance is good and rolling resistance very low.0

Gp40000

Ultremos dont last long. They are a race tyre.
I would go with 4000's0 -
I'm using pro4s and 4000s at the mo, I'd go for the pro4s because they just feel so much better on the road compared to the 4000s tyres.0

Was just about to post a similar comment to this. I have used GP 4000S' for the last 3-4 years. Changed to the Pro 4's a few months ago and they're so much nicer to ride on, not too far off tubs. Cant comment on longterm durability.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -

Anyone know where you can actually BUY some 25mm Michelin Pro4 Service Course tyres?? All my usual "go to" sites seem to only have 23mm?0

Clearly I am a muppet - totally didn't see that. In my defence it was early. Cheers.0

Yep, best summer/racing tyres... just wish Planet X would sell them again for under £20 each like they did for a while last year. They wear super quick on hot tarmac though.0 -
