I'm running a pair of high rollers atm but the front one is just about shot, I've got a very good condition ardent in the garage would it be better high roller rear ardent front or ardent rear high roller front or doesn't it matter. The ardent is 2.25 and the high roller 2.35 so no real difference.Thanks.

High roller front ardent rear - more aggressive/wider tyre on the front where you dont want to wash out, if the back lets slip every now and then it adds to the fun!Framebuilder

Try both set ups. Different people ride in different ways. I have seen two schwalbe sponsored dh racers with the same combination of tyres fitted the opposite way around. One of them told me he pushes the front hard and the other rides the back tyre hard and lets the front move around.
It costs nothing to experiment with what you have.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
