campag record lever reach/broken?
Hi experts,
I am getting back into cycling after a long time away, part of my motivation is to restore my beloved 653 hand built frame with older style Campagnolo record that will look the part and work better than the late 80s 105 that is currently on it.
I have been collecting a few parts, but occasionally a whole bike pops up that could be a possible donor for a bunch of parts, as with this Olmo. Its too far for me to go and inspect i would have to buy it and have it shipped, but the Record levers don't look right? They seem to be sitting too far out, are they damaged? repairable? or is it some reach adjustment? See attached pic.
Its not worth my buying this bike if the levers are expensive to repair!

It looks like the quick release on the left hand lever is open, so nothing broken. Campag QR is a small button in the lever, its the silver dot that you can see on the right hand lever.0

Yes, brake QR is open - nothing to worry about. Mk2 Record levers are very robust and parts readily availableMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
