New chain what to do...

Apologies if this has been discussed before..

Just about to fit new chain and cassette.

Do you degrease the packing oil the chain wash and dry and put preferred lube back on?

Or just give it a slight rub off and ride?

I'm leaning towards fully degrease and relube but would like everyone's opinion's.

    I love new factory grease. Lasts a fair while, more if dry. Run it down then use your own is my view

    Leave it. It's the best lube your chain will ever get
