Hi,
Can I use a compact 105 10 speed 5750 chainset to replace my compact Ultegra 10 speed 6750 chainset?
I have stupidly broken my 6750 chainset and want to replace it; the problem is that I am not swimming in money at the moment.
The 5750 is about £50 cheaper than the 6750 chainset.
This does sound like a strange question but I am looking at saving money as the wife and 3 kids seem to come first, Rule # 11 does not seem to be working at the moment

Thanks

I have broken the outer chainring and stripped the chainring bolts, expensive mistake but learnt a lesson.0

Have you stripped the thread on the spider?English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

No, just some of the bolts and cracked the hollowtech out chainring.
I have priced the outer chainring around £60 and cannot find any chainring bolts0 -
If they're 170 or 172.5 cranks then I'd be interested in buying it.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0
