, help , i know its a crap fork but its on my use and abuse bike which is in good nick apart from the fork which has died . its a threaded steerer. any suggestions for a cheap fork to replace it ?

But for all the suspension they give, I'd replace with a cheap set of rigid forks. Lighter and probably as bouncy.I don't do smileys.

good point i can see benefit of a rigid fork . where do i get them , and what measurements do i need ?
will i be able to transfer races etc and reuse handlebars and stem ?0 -
What size steerer do you have? IE diameter?0

Thanks guys , decision made , LBS going to fit a rigid MTb fork and swop,over all the bits. Will let you know how I get on with it.0
