Dolan Scala v Planet X Exocet

HI I was wondering which one would be best I would get ultegra build so both work out about the same price anyone by any chance tried both?

    Realistically they'll both perform the same. What you need to do is look at the geometry and choose the one that's best for you.

    The Dolan has UCI approval so there is a very big difference

    Errr... No there isn't; they're both open-mould framesets made in the Far East. UCI approval is a badge that they have to pay for. The Exocet would have the same sticker if Planet X wanted to pay for it (meets all UCI regs), but considering that this is A) the triathlon section and B) it's incredibly unlikely the OP will race an UCI sanctioned events the sticker itself is moot.

    Wtf? Since when did you need uci approval for a triathlon bike?

    The Dolan is made by gotobike.com, it's the WS11 model. Available from them direct.
