Hi, do you need to have any spacers under your stem? I only ask as I have a set of forks I would like to use but the steerer is pretty short, it fits but there is not much space for a spacer, its level when I put the stem on.
thanks

You don't have to have spacers but you should have a minimum of 3mm and maximum of 10mm between the top of your steerer and the top of your stem. So if they are inline at the top, I'd say put at least one spacer in the stack.0

10mm sounds like a lot - you don't want the top of the steerer lower than the top pinch bolt.
Spacers come in all sizes - 2mm are very handy.I don't do smileys.
