Spoke length help please

Hi,

I've just contacted a bike shop about wheel building, they charge £20 for the labour but a further £1 per spoke. To me the spoke price seems a bit expensive. I've looked around and can get 36 spokes for half the price they are charging. However, I need some advice on the length. The shop told me they use a calculator to do the spoke length?

Could someone please tell me the spoke lengths I need for my rear 700c wheel; details as follows:
Hub: Hope Pro 3 Mono (36H)
Rim: Halo aerorage (36H) or Velocity deep-V rim (36H)

I see the spoke length depends on a threading pattern and different for each side? Is this going to be specific for this wheel or is it specific for the shop? bit confused :?

If you lace 3 cross you need 281/278 with the Deep V or
    284/281 with the Aerorage
