Yup, I really can't say I approve of his confrontational approach, I think it does more harm than good, and his stated aim is to do good..........

Trouble is, even if they had footage of <insert $DEITY> performing <insert $MIRACULOUS_ACT>, it'd be edited to suit the producer's/production company's agenda and book-ended with spurious talking heads. If you sign a release form, be prepared for the worse. With TD, he's probably of the view that any publicity is good publicity.

What's slightly worrying is I've had complaint calls like the ones some of the nutters have.

Good on him but there would be no need for this if the roads were less crowded. Less immigration would equal fewer deaths on the road. This is the fault of the EU and the Labour Party.

Not as bad as the article in the Daily Mail.

Well not so much the article but the comments.

Red lights and pavements maybe mentioned !

    Preach my brother. Preach

Seven Go Pros for 360 degree recording. Really?! Red cards? Really?!!

Does anyone know if Mr Droid is on this forum? And on another note, I wonder how much his bike weighs with all that gear on there.

That Traffic Droid idiot is the perfect proof of something my dad told me in my younger days: If you go out looking for trouble, you're bound to find it.

I stopped wearing a helmetcam after a few weeks as I found it was changing the way I rode and made cycling less enjoyable. Perhaps this bloke should ditch the GoPros, ditch the red cards, ditch the metre rule, ditch the Traffic Droid persona, leave five minutes earlier for work, take Level Three Bikeability and generally chill out.

And judging from his flat and the time and money he invests (read spunksupagainstawall) in filming, video editing & uploading and complaining, maybe a girlfriend/boyfriend/pet would be a good idea too.

This. I found exactly the same. It made me into something I am not. I have since consciously slowed down around traffic, which allows you to preempt silly manoeuvres and dangers. I have also learnt to laugh and brush off most situations. Which reminds me, anyone want to buy a helmet camera?

Traffic Douche also needs to be taught that the strap of his helmet goes under the jaw, not under the bottom lip.

I am concerned by his mental state. He needs to be assessed by medical professionals before he gets beaten to death or falls under the wheels of a bus.
His ultimate aim is great, but his manner (and cycling ability), leaves a lot to be desired.

So am I, he certainly has some anger management issues. The Ch4 programme was as much 'lets stare at the people with pyschological problems' as it was about complaining.

Did anyone else notice he's an RLJ'er? Im sure I saw roll through a light right at the start of the programme.

And £1800 on cameras..... just wow!

    Bless him

Watching it now and I have to say that I can't help but feel sorry for him really. I think his/it's heart/CPU is in the right place but I'm not sure he really achieves much

You did see that. I wonder if he uploaded that!?

I've seen him on another programme. He seems the attention seeking type so must be loving all of this.

Yeah no doubt, especially if the clip at the end of him high 5ing a crowd of people was anything to go by.

The numerous bike/cycling campaigns in London and around the country must really appreciate his input!

I complained to waitrose that they stopped selling a product (750 ml bottles of Duvel) that I really liked in my local store. They sent me a voucher for a freebie to pick from another store.

Man with helmet cam and airzound is a bit of prat....wow! He rolled through an amber/red at the start. Seems to me a matter of time before he gets a slap!

No, that's another oddbod, often seen shirtless and seems to have some kind of device that emits beeps and bloops, a bit like a pedal-powered R2D2. He doesn't seem as bothered about road safety as Traffic Droid, full-face helmet notwithstanding.

Now that is the sort of thing I miss out on on my commute......

I use the word miss here in the same context as missing the opportunity to be flattened by a bus!
