And that's a good thing, isn't it?
too right it's a good thing, many happy memories of my night burner. it's just a subtle look with minimal colopuring but gives great visual impression. less is more sometimes.I don't know enough to make smart r's remarks about peoples choice of parts 'n' things, yet!0 -

I fancy one of these but unsure on size, how tall are you and bike size etc?
The Parkwood is meant to be similar geometry to the Scandal, but different design - I'm 6' 4" and the 21" Scandal (see top of this page) is a perfect fitSpecialized Roubaix Elite 2015

@33whitey im 5' 7" with a 29" inside leg this is the 16" small size frame and the thing fits me like a glove. My previous bikes have been 26" xc and the Parkwood even though it feels a heavy 30lbs going uphill it seems to climb at the same rate, but it goes downhill an awful lot quicker!!0

Thanks guys that supports Brants size guide which puts me on an 18 at 6ft with a 31 inside leg.0

As mentioned earlier in the thread, the Carve has now been replaced with a Solaris!0 -
I love it.
I'm a big wheel convert. My Carve (now my son's) was very xc but still fun to ride. The Solaris (mine is on 100mm forks) is even more fun. It has a playful character (imho) in that it has had me riding / trying stuff I'd have left for the fs before.
That said it still eats miles well, is plenty comfortable and I'm stoked with it.0
