Ferrals post injury credit card physio

Seeing as I'm off the bike, or doing anything much at the moment, and the actual physio is excruciating, I'm filling my time with plans to give the credit card a work out on shiny things
After the crash my handlebars are mangled so I need a new set. I am currently planning on renthal fatbar lites (not carbon ones). Any other suggestions? Essentially I want light 740ish wide low rise bars, similar to the ones which came on the whyte but a touch narrower.
I want a shiny stem so, on the assumption it will make me feel better, I am either going to get a raceface atlas 50mm 0rise or a hope FR/AM 50mm 0rise. Realistically I'm assuming at similar prices and weights there's not going to anything to choose from apart from which I think looks best? 8)

Maybe cheaper stuff and add in a skills course and lots of padding.

Nah where is the fun in that? Especially when the a&e guys are so friendly
Map capitulate and get lightweight elbow and knee pads if only to stop the grazing which is stinging like hell atm :evil:0 -

Look a bit pony but can't argue with the price to weight ratio. And Superstar's Zenith stem is half the price of the RF Atlas and over 40g lighter

Yeah but when I was a teenager we used to read the mags and lust over components by hope, race face and the like. Now I've got back into biking and have a real job and I can credit card it and pay it off slowly it's a temptation too far0

Couldn't agree more, that is a very clear NEED......Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
