Later this year I am cycling from milngavie to inverness on initially the west highland way then the great glen way over 2 and a bit days. I wanted a light 100mm full susser for this and eventually went for an anthem 29er. However I had issues with the x1 spec suspension (not loving fox at all) but by the same token I don't like sram gearing so bought an x2 and gave it some upgrades, piccies below
And
Spec is now
Reba front shock
Monarch rlt rear
Full xt 2x10 groupset with a 36t rear casette
Xt brakes with upgraded 180mm discs
Superstar orange bits includind grips and nano pedals
Contact 70mm stem (bloody od2!)
Crank bros bar
Racing ralph tyres
Its about 26 lbs going by luggage scales. Might change wheels as they flex but I think this might just be a 29er thing....

Is it quite a small frame? Makes the wheels look huge!Framebuilder
