IS mount brakes to post mount adapter?

Looking to buy a fork on eBay but just wanted to confirm, can I get an adapter to mount an IS disc brake to a 'post mount' (?)
I have seen and read about an adapter to achieve the opposite , but is it possible this way?

    Just about anything is possible.

    As to what you want to do it might be possible but you might need to change disc size of something as you have not provided any info.

    thanks, I guess what your saying is... an adapter for the post mount to work with an IS set up would mean the Disc would also need to be larger then it is now.. (?) mm that makes sense now.
