I can't get a free hub/cassette body for my easton rear wheel no longer made. It's a 24 spoke wheel why is it i see a few wheel sets using 24 spoke hubs but can't find anywhere to buy a hub on it's own except for circus monkey one's on ebay.
Some of these wheel sets are shimano and mavic so not like they are an obscure manufacturer.Never again will i buy easton products.

Have you spoken to the place you got it from?

And why do you need the whole thing?

Oh yes i've tried crc, kona, zyro, easton EU,easton USA, ebay, gumtree, pink bike various uk and european cycle websites etc. I need the whole hub cos the free hub/casestte body is obsolete (2012 bike!!). Can't really afford to buy a new wheel set.
  • so what wheel/hub is it?

So again why do you need a full body!

If you need a new free hub, what makes you think you need the rest of the hub, and if doubt the free hub is different for the different spoke hubs.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Err the cassette has nothing to do with the hub.

    Unless you mean the freehub.

If you mean free hub what do you need?

    And again which wheel set?

You say XC but is that the EA90 or the EA70or the ONE or the TWO or even just the XC.

Until your freehub body disintegrates ;-)

At least they don't do "non user serviceable" hubs anymore, imagine my surprise, wasn't happy!

Just servicing my bike - don't even need to touch the XTR hubs, smooth as silk. Not the lightest, but they are bloody good.
