Can 23mm tyres be used OK on 23mm rims?
I'm not sure my frame will take 25mm tyres and have no problem using 23mms so would prefer to stick with them.
Is there enough tyre for the latest wide rims though?

While we're on the subject, would a 23mm tyre on a 23mm rim be all round preferable to using a 25mm tyre?0

Never... I prefer bigger tyres... for road 27 are my favourite, for the rest 30-32mm.left the forum March 20230 -
I may try 25s when the new GP400S II are more widely available in that size. At the moment I have only found 23s with a yellow side wall (preferred) and even they are like hen's teeth.
I'll have a play around once I have a benchmark with my 23s.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

27's Vittoria Open Pave's on archetypes they are a nice fat 27mm and very nice to ride on.
I have the 25mm GP4000s II tyres in stock hell if I have them surely most retailers have them too.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0 -
The tart in me wanted yellow sidewalls to match the bike colours. I couldn't find them in 25s.
Can I live without an extra 1mm each side? Hope so.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S
