Reverb Question

I am looking at getting a Reverb for my new bike - I have 140mm of seat post exposed above the seat tube to the base of the saddle clamp - do I have space for the 125mm travel post or should I get the 100mm? How wide is the collar on the post?
I am going for a stealth if it makes any odds.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

dunno about stealth but on my 'standard' 125mm, from the base of collar to the top of the dust seal is about 35mm so you should be fine with the 100mm I guess"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Cool - thanks. I figured the 15mm wouldnt be enough to allow for the 125mm version.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

A 100mm Reverb has 170mm from the bottom of the collar to the saddle rails.0

So even with a 100mm drop I dont seem to have enough post out of the seat tube? Any ideas whether the DOSS or Thompson has a more compatible length?Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

I can get 150mm to the base of the rail assembly so maybe the Elite would work. New Stealth version of that out soon so perhaps thats an option if Reverb is too big.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0
