SGS - long cage
Top normal - not rapid rise ie higest gear with no cable tension.0 -

Yep :-( I liked it too, with normal shifters.0

It gives you the option to buy it is it something that's not about much now0
-
Thee is no rapid rise 10 speed......you said this was top normal, which they all now are.
I like rapid rise as well, have XTR with flappy XT shifters.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
So when the two options to buy are 10 speed or 10 speed SGS - top normal.
Which do I need and what's the difference I am confused.0 -
I am assuming if I am going 10 Spd double chainring upfront I won't need the sgs one0

Look at the Shimano techdocs and make sure you get one with the right capacity for your cassette and rings!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
