Hello,

Ive been meaning to get a good bike for a while now, but I've been running/racing too much to use it. Anyhow, I was hit by a car from the side and have torn my MCL and have a small depressed fracture on the outside of my leg, (7week ago)
Now is obviously the time to get a bike as running is out for a while... Ive been using my MTB all last year a couple of times per week to mix up the running.

I initially looked at the trek domaine 4.5/7 but they are all sold out in my size 52, Cannondales, Specialised, also none left.. the trek dealer was going to do me 25% of the bike in free kit.... which was nice...
I looked at Canyon, and Rose but they were going to take 5 week or so at least. Dolan and rubble are another option i have looked at, but not sure of the bikes or frames, seemed good value though.

There is a cube dealer near me in cumbria, i like the look of the cubes, I can get a agree slt or an sl with a couple of hundred £ knocked off this yrs model. bearing in mind the new ones will be out sooner rather than later??
Or wheelbase is in the same county and have a focus Cayo evo 2 that they will give me 10% off for paying in full?

I really don't know which one. Im 32yo 5Ft6 so smack bang in-between small and medium frames. should i just wait until the new models arrive and continue using my MTB?

Im all reviewed out and could do with some advice from other riders.

Cheers

Gary

I'm 168cm sorry, I tried the 54 but couldn't quite get the 35% bend in my leg, the seat would be too low if i dropped a couple of cm or so apparently, he said i am in-between 52/54. I can get a 2013 trek madone 4.5 from pedalon for 1399 but its at the other end of the country.....
