Looking to get a large quantity of degreaser to use in my cyclone chain cleaner rather than keep buying the expensive sprays, I commute a lot in rubbish conditions so have to clean the chain a lot. Will this be any good?

I'd give it a go, its water based so should wash out with water as well just like citrus degreaser.

Seriously OP use White Spirit. you can get 4L for about £6. It evaporates off, doesn't cause rust because it isn't water based and cuts through grease like there's no tomorrow.

I use it in chain cleaners and on a dismantled cassettes. Cleans up like new.
