Looking for some tyres to put on an MTB for commuting. Bike has Mavis X517 rims, 26". Thinking of Schwalbe Marathons and they come in 1.35, 1.5, 1.75 and 2.0. Which width is best and will they fit the rim? Open to suggestions for other makes of tyre as well. Thanks

The CJ is the go to budget option but is a little draggier than some of the better ones such as the conti sport contact, I use 1.5" slicks on my commuter.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

well they might be a so called budget tyre but they are worth every penny more than reliable for me thanks0
