Hi there. I was always cycling when I was younger (like most people) but then when I started driving I stopped using my bike completely and it was just put in a shed until I eventually gave it away.
I'm just after a bit of advice really, my knowledge of bikes is zero  I'm after a bike for riding trials and around places like Derwent Reservoir. Nothing too extreme but a fair bit of mileage when I start to get back into the swing of things. I will rarely use it for road riding.
After browsing many websites and reading things that hardly make any sense to me I've been pointed in the direction of the Carrera Vulcan. I'm just wondering if this is a good starting bike? Is it worth its money or is there better bikes around that price range? I'm looking to spend no more than £360.

Thank you for your time.

Note to remember, Halfords Carrerra sale bikes are never really on sale as far as I can tell. They just up the price so they can drop it again.A Flock of Birds

Thanks for the reply It's not too much out of my price range so I don't mind paying it if I will save money in the long run. It looks a really nice bike.
It's all still new to me so I'm not too sure what to look for and what makes of bike are better than others.0 -
Don't get hung up on brands at that price point. The Calibre is brilliant for the cash.0
