I saw this on Facebook and to be honest it's a bit of a storm in a teacup. OK so the marshall seems to go over the top a bit - but then he probably knows that watching it back and with a race coming you can kind of understand him not handling it ideally - plus I'm not going to criticise a guy who is giving up his time for nothing to help run a bike race.

The only real danger came from the guy in the Kelme top who seemed hell bent on making his point and does put other riders at risk - but to be honest if that is the worst moment in that road race it's infinitely safer than many I've ridden !

Don't get me wrong ideally that wouldn't happen but in truth it's not as bad as all that.
