FoD Wild Boar Chase - thanks for helping my son

I did the Wild Boar Chase yesterday with my wife and son.
My son, being young and much, much fitter than his parents dropped us after the first couple of miles. When we got to the end we found our son with bandages on his left elbow and knee. He had come off after his front wheel slid out on a gravel fire road bend and had some quite nasty cuts and grazes.
A group of guys stopped and helped him up and cleaned and dressed his wounds. Unfortunately he didn't get any of their names or numbers, but did find out that one of the guys is an ex-Marine.
