Hello just brought some mavic cosmic carbone sls and the rear hub isn't as loud as I was hoping. Love a loud freewheel. Is there any way I could make it louder replacing the guts or something? If so what do you recommend
Cheers

Use it. As the grease get spread about the noise will increase."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Tape a playing card to the side of yur frame so that it sticks into the wheel. Or buy some spokey dokeys. Both will do the job fine.

To solve the issue on one of my hubs, I dismantled the freehub and remove the engagement pawls.
I then filed them down on the non-engagement side - just a mm or so. In effect, this makes them 'drop' further onto the tooth and amplifies the noise they make.
I'll post up photos so others can see the process.0 -
I once fitted a flux capacitor to my bicycle - ok, the 88mph required to actually make it work was a bugger to achieve but when it did hit the magical number - well, gosh darn - boy did it fly.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am
