Cutting my fork tube.

Hello I'm looking at cutting my fork tube what's the best way to go about this?

    Heavy-duty pipe cutter or hacksaw - use a spare stem and a spacer as a saw guide. Plenty of videos online.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Pipecutter is much easier IMHO if you don't have the steadiest of sawing strokes, can get on amazon for a few quid. But measure twice to cut once!

    Hammer and nice fat/long socket - and slowly!

    FIRST - measure, about 6 times. Then cut.

    Bit of electrical tape around where you want to cut gives you a guide line as well.
    You can pick up star fangled nut installers for about 10-15 quid on ebay. I bodged it first time and it was in all pissed and gave me grief. Bought one of these and did the job lovely!!
