Any beginners from Airdrie area?

Hello all!
I've been out riding on my own a little bit in the past 6 months or so. I'm partially sighted so been sticking to quieter roads and cycle paths, haven't hooked up with a club yet due to worries about my sight/fitness.. Anyone else from the Airdrie area do the same?
