I'm going to Anglesea for a few days and I'm going to throw a mtb in the car.

What trails are their around the area and should I take my cube xc bike or my nukeproof mega?

I need to go riding about 6 am and be back for about 10 am to do the family stuff.

Thanks guys

Closest trails I know of to Anglesey are Antur Stiniog and Betws-Y-Coed, with Antur being downhill and Betws-y-Coed being cross-country. Antur is out for you, because I don't think they open until 10am. Betws-y-Coed is likewise a bit of a trek and probably not worth it if you have 4 hours to travel and ride.

Best bet is to take the xc bike, and ask around when you get there. Find some natural trails.

when I was working up there I found some trails in newborough forest.

nothing spectacular, but ok to spin the legs and get out for a ride. they're not waymarked though, you just have to explore a bit.
